Hi, I am Miguel Fopiani

I am professional with nearly 30 years of working experience and more than 20 years in management positions in several projects.

I have wide experience in Oil & Gas, Energy and Marine Industry in North Sea, North Africa and Middle East. Finding out that managing projects is the work I like, and I’m dedicated to it with passion.

My dedication and effort ended with a proven track of record of successfully completed projects, working as client and contractor roles, in different countries and with cultures, working in companies with strong project culture and new companies where everything should be built from zero.

I have a strong understanding and experience of contract terms and types, contract definition, planning, progress measurement, cost, estimating, change management, project finance, project forecasting, reporting and risk management. Work executed in all project phases from Definition, FEED, Execution, Start-up, Handover and associated decision gates submittal and approval.

I always work with the main principle that my work shall add value to the project, the team and myself; while working on the pillars of honesty, ethics and professionalism.

As part of management skills, I am a team worker; I like to work with people, share information and experience, improve team communication and working environment. I always promote team members participation and adherence to project and organizations objectives; while coaching and recognizing their contribution to the project.

Finally, I describe myself as a good communicator and listener. In my personal career, I often found that major disputes arose from the lack of communication and understanding between parties that will escalate as time passes. I find fundamental to listen and understand the reasons from another point of view; only by understanding the deep reasons for the conflict or dispute, it can be resolved satisfactorily by both parties and without escalations.
