Project Controls Verification
To support companies in verifying reported status by contractors is in line with the approved procedures and coherence in the control information.
This service is mainly required when companies have no possibility to audit certain elements from the contractor, due to confidentiality, ethics or conflict of interest; especially when it involves the review of contractor costs or norms. Then, an independent third party is necessary to audit and issue a compliance report.
Main elements to review are:
- Is contractor applying the approved procedures?
- Is current schedule in line with baseline schedule, especially on the weight assigned to schedule activities?
- Are plan and actual curves following same principles?
- Are histograms in line with current and baseline plan?
- What is the basis of weights in schedule and progress reports?
- Is cost aligned with progress?
- Are there executable elements outside plan and progress reporting?
